Energy and Infrastructure
Energy and its associated infrastructure is undergoing a period of unprecedented change, both in magnitude and speed, predominantly driven by technology and environmental policy. Our extensive database (we track hundreds of data sets) provides us with the facts to analyse the impact of the energy transition on corporates, governments and consumers. We believe that investors need to understand the impact on all stakeholders, from this period of change, to make optimal investment decisions.
Our analysis focuses on the European gas, power and water sectors. Our research analyses these sectors both from a top down and a bottom up perspective, with detailed models on the main listed UK and Iberian power, gas and water companies. We publish a monthly briefing covering key changes in commodity prices, retail markets, economics and generation mix along with an editorial spotlighting a particular trend. We also publish thematic reports looking at areas such as power markets and the implications of increasing renewable penetration, increasing competition in energy retail markets and greater convergence between energy, telecoms and services.
